Minneapolis Mosaic
Many Worlds One Weekend will mark the opening of 2009 MOSAIC on June
6, 2009. Over 15,000 people will attend the 35 free performances at the
stages on Hennepin Avenue on Saturday night from 6 – 10 pm.
Theater-goers can choose between flamenco, tap and Chinese dance
performances, gospel choirs, Latin jazz and theatrical performances for
children.
Minneapolis MOSAIC is a project celebrating
cultural diversity through the arts. Minneapolis MOSAIC improves the
well being of the Twin Cities and its’ residents through a variety of
ways. Events run through August 31, 2009.
